7 days Morocco Desert tour from Fez

Day 1: Fes, Meknes, Volubilis Ruins and Chefchaouen

Your 7-day tour begins with an early pickup from the airport or your accommodation in Fes. We then set off on a visit to Meknes, the capital of Ismail and one of the imperial cities. We will visit the Bab al-Mansur, the Saharij Suani basin, the royal stables, the granary, and the mausoleum of Moulay Ismail. Free time for lunch. Next, drive 30 km from Meknes to visit the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis. It is well preserved and is registered as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. There are beautiful mosaics throughout, as well as ancient columns and archways.

Stroll through the largest traditional souk in Morocco. Free time for lunch near Djemaa el Fna Square Then visit the Koutoubia Mosque, the largest in Marrakech, and the Majorelle Gardens. Day 5: Marrakech, High Atlas Mountains, Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, Ouarzazate

Early morning pickup from your accommodation in Marrakech. Then drive through the fascinating High Atlas Mountains and Tizin Tichka Pass. Then visit the famous Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou. A fortified village is listed as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Additionally, the Kasbah can be seen in many movies such as “Gladiator”, “Alexander”, and “Hamunaptra”, as well as television series such as Game of Thrones. Lunch at a local restaurant.
