Itinerary

Day 1: Marrakech to Dades Valley

The 7-day tour from Marrakech will begin with a crossing of the High Atlas Mountains by Tizi N-Tichka (2260 m) with our private driver. He will pick you up at your riad or hotel. Take a break at one of the lookout points to enjoy the beauty of this road. Keep going on your way to see Ait Ben Haddou in the Kasbah.

The most well-known ksar in the Ounila Valley is Ait-Ben-Haddou, which is in the foothills on the southern slopes of the High Atlas in the Province of Ouarzazate. The Ksar of Aït-Ben-Haddou is a beautiful example of a building from southern Morocco. The majority of homes in the ksar are communal.

Inside the defensive walls, which are strengthened by angle towers and punctured with a baffle gate, there are a lot of houses. Some are simple, while others look like small urban castles with their high-angle towers and upper sections decorated with clay brick patterns. It’s on the list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Day 2: Dades Valley to Merzouga Desert

Today, after breakfast, we leave the Dades Valley and continue our 7-day vacation from Marrakech to the route that leads to the Todra Gorge, which is regarded as the favorite and most impressive canyon by international rock climbers. Then walk across the oasis to the famous Todra Gorge, where you will notice a very deep chasm in the orange limestone that provides amazing vistas.

Following that, we will go south to the Sahara, passing through a lovely oasis, palm groves, scenery, historic ruins, adobe kasbahs, and dinosaur artifacts. We’ll stop for lunch on the way. Then we go to Erfoud, the city of fossils. Because the area was once an ocean, many fossils and minerals have been discovered and made into exquisite pieces of furniture and ornamental materials.

The sea of sand marks the conclusion of our trek today, and your camel will be waiting in the Erg Chebbi dunes to transport you to your desert tent across the Moroccan Sahara’s vast golden dunes. You will be able to watch the sunset and enjoy sandboarding. Day 3: Merzouga Desert Sightseeing

It is necessary to get up early in the morning to enjoy the stunning sunrise in the middle of the desert. Breakfast is on your own time. Then you ride Camel back to Merzouga, where your driver is waiting. We will spend the day of your Morocco desert tour exploring the Merzouga area. The area has a lot of amazing sights, like sand dunes, a wild lake, caves, fossil areas, and beautiful oases. You can do a lot of fun things outside.

First, we start our trip in Merzouga by going off-road to see an old eyeliner mine. After that, we go see the gypsies in their hand-woven tent. While you drink your Berber tea, learn about how they live. The next stop on our trip is Khamlia, where you can enjoy Gnaoua music and dance shows. The people who live there are from sub-Saharan Africa, mostly Mali, Sudan, and Niger. Some free time to eat lunch somewhere. After that, we go for a walk in an area of palm trees. After that, take a short drive to see Merzouga Lake, which is also known as Flamingo Lake. Dinner and the night At a hotel.

Day 4: Merzouga Desert to Fes

For today, you’ll wake up early to see and enjoy the sunrise view of Erg Chebbi in Merzouga over the highest dunes, which is considered one of the great moments of the desert. After breakfast, you’ll have the option of returning either on camels or by 4×4 car, leaving the dunes behind to begin the journey to Fes. We will drive to Fes through Ziz Valley, stopping to admire the panoramic scenery of Ziz Valley.

After that, we continue our drive until we stop for lunch in Midelt or Zaida before continuing to Azrou or Michlifen to visit the Barbary macaque and the cedar forest. Following that, we will go to Fes via Ifrane, a village in Morocco’s Middle Atlas Mountains. It is famous for its alpine-style architecture and proximity to ski slopes and forests. A stone lion statue near the beautiful Parc la Prairie is a well-known sight. Stay at a hotel or riad in Fes for the night.

Day 5: Fes Sightseeing

Today is all about seeing Fez’s famous sights and monuments. Fez is the world’s oldest cultural and spiritual city. Moulay Idriss II built the city in the year 790 A.D. with a local guide by your side. Some of the most interesting places in Fez are Al-Qarawiyyin University, which was the world’s first university; Bou Inania Madrasa (theological colleges); the Jewish District (Millah); plazas; the Andalusians and potters who live in the area; museums; Souks (traditional markets); the amazing tanneries; and Bab Boujloud. We are going to eat lunch at a normal Moroccan restaurant in the old Medina. Fez is also known as the home of crafts in Morocco. On your full-day trip to Fes, you’ll stop at a place with a great view of the Medina of Fes as a whole. We’ll take you back to your riad or hotel after the tour of the city. Stay the night in Fes.

Day 6: Fes to Chefchaouen

After breakfast at your Fes hotel or riad, our authentic journey will take us to the Roman Ruins at Volubilis, an open-air museum. Volubilis, like the Roman sites on the Mediterranean rim, is not as stunning, but it is nevertheless a pleasant way to see a key aspect of Moroccan history. Then carry on through the highest Rif Mountains and fertile agricultural hills to Chefchaouen. Chefchaouen is well-known around the world because both visitors and Moroccans enjoy visiting this city, particularly during the hot summer months, and because of its lively blue that swilled houses that give life. We’ll arrive in Chefchaouen in the evening. We will enjoy wandering to explore the medina’s white and blue-washed walls and the markets that sell some distinctive native goods. It’s easy to see why Chefchaouen is a photographer’s dream. Stay at Chefchaouen for the night.

Day 7: Chefchaouen to Casablanca

Today, get up early to photograph the empty streets before departing for Casablanca. After breakfast, depart from the hotel. In Casablanca, you may see the Hassan II Mosque, which was built at great expense to commemorate the former king’s 60th birthday. It is a showcase of the very best Moroccan artisanship, set on an outcrop jutting over the ocean and with a 210-meter-tall minaret that serves as the city’s major landmark. Hand-carved stone and wood, intricate marble flooring and inlay, gilded cedar ceilings, and exquisite zellige (geometric mosaic tilework) abound. Outside of prayer times, multilingual guided tours of the interior are offered. The driver will then drop you off at your hotel or bring you to the airport.
